LOS ANGELES, California (March 16, 2009) – Kids in Motion Pediatric Therapy, an innovative private physical, speech and occupational therapy practice, launched their online counterpart over the weekend. The new site, www.mykidsinmotion.com is dedicated to improving the well being of children throughout the Los Angeles area through childrens programs. The site offers all the relevant information parents might need about the childrens programs available to help make a decision about how to fulfill their pediatric therapy needs. Since 2002 Marcie Rhee, owner and principal of Kid in Motion Pediatric Therapy, has been providing home-based pediatric therapy care for the Los Angeles community through her home-based physical therapy practice. She has experience working with children with varied orthopedic, neuromuscular, neurological and sensory diagnoses. Marcie also is an early intervention specialist, and has worked closely with hundreds of children with special needs and their families through childrens programs. “Marcie is amazing,” praises a customer regarding the company’s pediatric therapy services. On the company’s new website, another customer explains, “we’ve worked with a lot of therapists in Los Angeles over the years, but Marcie’s childrens programs have helped Connor make a lot of progress with his fine motor skills. And you can tell she loves all of the children she works with.” Marcie’s full bio is available on the website as well as information about her childrens programs, special events in the Los Angeles community, links to helpful sites, information about the other pediatric therapy specialists that she works with, and even information about the pediatric therapy classes that she holds regularly at the clinic. She even opens the clinic to parties and events that the Los Angeles community requires such a venue for. Parental involvement also is a core component in all of the company’s pediatric therapy sessions. By participating in the sessions, parents learn first-hand how to incorporate the therapeutic techniques that Kids in Motion Pediatric Therapy uses during therapy time, on a day-to-day basis while bonding with their children in a positive, enriching environment. Another customer explains online, “before Kids in Motion, I never left the house. Now, not only does my baby get the physical care that she needs, I’ve made friends with a lot of mothers through the childrens programs who are experiencing the same issues!” At the Los Angeles based facility, in an effort to maximize the learning process in a realistic way, the main gym area of the Kids in Motion Pediatric Therapy center is reconfigured weekly to help re-create these variable conditions. The revolving environment of these childrens programs has proven to be a place where kids have a great time and want to come back. One customer puts it best, “Kids in Motion is like a play date that you never want to end. Everyone leaves smiling.” Kids in Motion Pediatric Therapy is founded on the groundbreaking premise that carryover of new skills is maximized when the skills are learned in a natural environment. The Kids in Motion Pediatric Therapy center, located in the greater Los Angeles area has custom their designed facility and childrens programs to mirror the experiences that the typical developing child encounters within his or her community.
